Take a tour….

Friday, August 7th, 2009

Our site is naked right now… That’s because we haven’t launched yet! If you are reading this right now, you are one of the few people getting a sneak peak at our revolutionary conglomerate.

As we speak, designers, software developers, and production companies are hard at work getting this operation ready to go. For now, take a little tour, check out the site preview below. Also, take minute to look at some sample content on our blog below including a sneak peak of our <in depth> featured article on Chester French, our in-house writers have been busy to give you something to look at.

We’re coming soon, stay tuned!

The idea of paying for music will be incomprehensible in the near future. Millions of bands steam their music for free everyday. It is time to embrace the concept that mp3’s will soon make the transformation from potential income  (realistically only if you’re signed to a major) to the strongest form of marketing for a musician. That’s where “free music “comes in. If you are a musician that would like to market your music for free through our site, please email george@thebandaidz.com or come back in a little bit and contact us through our collab page.

We’re a young company and we’re not afraid to admit it. Our staff has years of music industry experience, and we’re already 2 1/2 in dog years if it makes you feel better. So if your involved in the music industry: anything from an established producer, to a rookie musician,  please feel free to contact us through our collab page; and if you truly support music we’ll try to find a way to collaborate with you through one of our companies. Email farley@thebandaidz.com in the meanwhile.

We want to let you know about our baby, Bandaidz Live. We are hard at work bringing together promoters, production companies, venues, bands, and our in-house event staff to get the world ready to see us in action. If you have anything to do with live music, and want to get involved, please do, bill@thebandaidz.com will answer all your questions until our collab page is up.

Bandaidz Solutions LLC & CMC LLC

top-secret

We’re sorry, but these two companies are currently in stealth mode. We have software developers hard at work creating revolutionary technology making it easier to be a working band. We also have a number of interviews being conducted with famous musicians. Unless you are a potential investor,  partner, or lover (jk); then we can’t spill the beans on these two. Stay tuned for more or email farley@thebandaidz.com. P.S. top secret chats are happening right now about a possible tour with one of our favorite bands.

I said it over 2 years ago, and I’ll say it again now, chester french is the future. They started as a dedicated studio project; and quickly got looks from major rap label execs like Kanye, Pharrell, and J.Dupre. Meanwhile, they were still walking the prestigious halls of harvard and hadn’t even stepped foot on a large stage. Imagine sitting in english class and getting a call from pharrell… Their quick transition from the studio to non-stop touring was not only impressive, but well accepted by critics and a wide spectrum of the international public. Chester French will flourish, their music is timeless and universal. They are among very few musicians to break away from “the pattern” that has plagued the industry for the past 15-20 years. They create authentic, diverse, and eclectic music that reaches everyone. From sick beats and hooks, to songs about cougar hunting in the grocery store. each song is a journey.

Chester French was signed to pharrell’s label (star trak // interscope) based on their raw talent and potential. Because of this, a lot of people don’t realize that despite their quick trip to a record deal, they have displayed an extreme diy (do it yourself) effort to reach this expected potential. Their fanbase has grown exponentially in the past two years as a result of this. With pure “endurance”, D.A. and Max have remained touring while staying connected with fans through twitter, facebook, myspace, vimeo, their vip service, and even direct email (da@chesterfrench.com and max@chesterfrench.com). You will find them outside all of their shows meeting and connecting with fans. they’re all over the internet, radio, and tv doing endless promotion.
